ABOUT ME

Welcome to my website! My name is Matt Caputo, and I am passionate about worship ministry.

My journey into worship ministry began eight years ago, marking a significant shift from a life dedicated to sports to one centered on ministry and music. The transition was transformative, as I redirected the same drive and passion I once poured into athletics toward serving the Lord through worship.

Over the past eight years, I've had the incredible privilege of serving and leading in various churches. I've been blessed to have worked on staff at a local church, where I had the honor of leading worship, alongside volunteering in different church communities. One of the most rewarding experiences during this time was my role in The Gathering, a traveling worship ministry that I had the joy of leading for over six years throughout the Pittsburgh area. The Gathering hosted worship nights in diverse churches and venues, where we were able to share our music and faith journey with others.

During those years with The Gathering, I had the opportunity to produce and mix fifteen songs, as well as write a dozen original compositions that were not only performed live but also released on various streaming platforms. These experiences have deeply enriched my understanding of worship and music as powerful tools for spreading God's love and message.

Currently, my journey continues as I travel to different churches and venues, sharing in worship and occasionally preaching. Every opportunity to minister through music and The Word is a reminder of God's faithfulness and the fulfillment found in answering His call. Reflecting on my early years, I realize now that God was preparing me for this path from a young age, and I've come to appreciate that He uses every season of our lives for His glory. He is faithful!
